Prayer
"For mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people." Isa 56:7 (KJV)
Submit Prayer Request
Relationship:
God desires an intimate relationship with each of us. Prayer allows us the opportunity to spend time with Him, and to understand His heart. As He reveals His heart unto us, our hearts are transformed and our faith is deepened.
Intercession:
Prayer allows the Power of God to be released in Earth. God has called the Church (the Body of Christ) to be the household of prayer for all people, all nations. So when we pray for others, we are literally releasing the Power of God to move in their lives.
Praying in the Holy Ghost:
"On the day of Pentecost, their appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Act :1 -4)." God has given us a prayer language for the purpose of intercession, praise and communication with God. When we pray in tongues (pray in the Holy Ghost) we are literally praying the perfect Will of God. "We know not what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercessions for us..for He makes intercessions for us according to the Will of God (Rom 8:26-27)." Praying in the Holy Ghost also "builds us up on our most holy faith (Jude 1:20)."
